DESCRIPTION:
French, Marti & Cie, 8-day time/strike black with contrasting green and white marble mantel clock, with open escapement and visible Ellicott style compensating pendulum, C. 1900
CONDITION:
Marble case in very nice condition with just a little roughness on one spot of the round head. Original porcelain dial has a couple of tiny chips at the slow/fast arbor. Hands are original. Pendulum may have had a glass crystal over the compensation levers, is OK without. Movement is signed. Ht. 17.5".
